Community College Alliance Enrollment Advisor

Franklin University has a full-time position available as a remote within Ohio Community College Alliance (CCA) Enrollment Advisor.  Reporting to the Assistant Director, Community College Alliance, the CCA Enrollment Advisor will be responsible for the management of the recruitment pipeline of prospective students for Franklin University’s Community College Alliance program. The position is responsible for engaging in timely, high quality, proactive outreach to educate CCA inquiries/applicants on Franklin’s CCA enrollment processes, ensuring a high-quality prospective CCA student experience and facilitating a thorough understanding of all requirements and timelines for registration.  

The position requires business hour operations that may include additional evening work to facilitate special events when needed as well as to accommodate time zone variations among prospective students. 

Duties include:

•    Proactively working to contact assigned groups of potential students within a designated timeframe.  Heavy phone work is involved.
•    Setting up and completing information and registration appointments with inquiries/applicants and maintaining accurate records for all interactions, appointments, etc. with potential students.
•    Recruiting and advising students from prospect through first-term registration by understanding transfer curriculum and advising methodologies.
•    Ensuring an efficient, friendly, and courteous prospective student experience by providing coaching and mentoring to prospective students; assisting with the navigation of enrollment processes to ensure they meet critical deadlines.
•    Effectively and efficiently utilizing the University’s CRM (Constituent Relationship Management System) and Student Information System in support of a quality prospective student experience.
•    Initiating, developing, and enhancing student matriculation rates based on utilizing technology such as MyTransferCredit, processing electronic student guides as requested, and working the CCA Pathway Portal processing of student applications.
•    Implementing strategic engagement plans and tactics for CCA department that aligns with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and University goals.
•    Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of Franklin’s overall value proposition(s) and information related to academic programs to appropriately inform and serve prospective students.
•    Maintaining strong strategic relationships with others on the CCA team and within the University. 

The position requires someone residing within Ohio with a bachelor’s degree and demonstrated experience with leveraging a CRM tool to guide day-to-day activities. The selected individual will have high energy and motivation coupled with a strong track record of goal achievement and student satisfaction.  The CCA Enrollment Advisor will be a strong communicator with excellent telephone skills supplemented by effective written communication skills who also has highly developed organization, prioritization, time management and follow-through skills and can work independently as well as within a team.

Previous experience in college/university recruitment and/or admissions would be a plus in this position.
